- Open the case
- Put the paper roll in the printer
- Close the printer case
Tips on how to put the paper roll in the printer:
- First, locate the start of the roll and make sure the paper feeds from the bottom of the roll
- Next, place the new roll in the designated slot inside the printer, with the paper feeding from the bottom
- Finally, pull a few inches of paper from the roll, and make sure it is straight and not twisted
How to connect the printer to the tablet
Step 1.
Connect the printer through Bluetooth. Next, go to tablet Settings → Turn Bluetooth on → Search for the printer via Bluetooth and add the printer.
Tip: When connecting the printer, make sure you select the correct printer name. If there are multiple Bluetooth devices nearby, the list can get confusing. Identifying the specific name of your printer will ensure you connect to the right device.
Step 2.
Open the Uber Eats Order app on the tablet. Next, click the three bar lines icon in the top-left corner of the tablet.
Tip: The Uber Eats Orders app might not open the first time because it might be uploading. If this happens, give it some time to load fully before trying again.
Step 3.
Click on the Settings icon.
Step 4.
Click on Receipt printing.
Step 5.
Next, click "Printer." The app will then search for your printer. This may take up to 60 seconds. Select your printer and then click Continue. If you want you can test your printer by clicking 'Test print receipt.'

Frequently asked questions
- What happens if I have connectivity issues?
When using a new device or trying to connect to a network for the first time:
Check to see if the wireless network recognises the 2.4 GHz band. Some tablets do not support 5 GHz networks. If you can't see the Wi-Fi network name (SSID) in the Wi-Fi section of the tablet's Settings app, but it appears on other devices, this may be the issue.
If the device was previously connected to the network:
- Make sure that the device has sufficient charge and is not located near items that may cause interference, such as microwaves or cordless phones
- Verify that other devices in the restaurant can connect to the Internet
- From the tablet's home screen, open the "Settings" app
- Turn Wi-Fi off for 10 seconds
- Then, turn the Wi-Fi back on
- Verify that the device is connected to the Wi-Fi network and that the connection is stable
- If the Internet connection is still not functioning, reset the tablet
- If this does not work, reboot your router or contact your Internet provide
- Why am I not receiving orders?
Down Small If orders are not arriving as expected, your restaurant may be invisible to customers. You can check to see if your restaurant is online by doing the following:
- Make sure your restaurant is online by looking at the navigation icon and make sure it's green
- Confirm your tablet is connected to the restaurant's Internet by opening the 'Settings' on your tablet and check it
- Make sure your tablet is charged and your Uber Eats app is open all the time for your shop to be visible
- Check with an alternative device if your internet connection is active.
- What if the app is not ringing on my tablet when I receive a new order?
Down Small If your tablet is not ringing while you receive a new order, you can change it by modifying your notification settings.
- Step 1: Press on the 'Setting' icon
- Step 2: Press on 'Sounds'
There you will be able to see all the necessary information about how to activate the sound of the notifications
