Always improving: 3 enhancements from Uber Eats and Olo

We’re excited to share three improvements now available through our partnership with Olo. Each is designed to streamline your post-order operations, reduce manual work for your team and give your customers the best possible experience.

  1. Uber Eats reports: Previously available only in Uber Eats Manager, you can now access these reports right from the Olo dashboard. This new reporting integration eliminates the need to log in to multiple systems and allows you to generate, schedule and download reports in one centralised place.


  2. Rails price reductions to POS: This feature allows brand-funded deals applied on Uber Eats to pass directly through Rails and into your POS. It not only reduces mismatches and manual entry, but it also helps you and your franchisees have better financial data for measuring ROI and calculating royalty fees.


  3. Differentiated delivery and pick-up pricing: An improved experience gives you the flexibility to set different prices for pick-up versus delivery orders. This aligns with customer expectations, keeps your pricing competitive and ensures a fairer experience for every customer.

Uber Eats reporting in Olo

You can now generate, schedule and download Uber Eats Manager reports directly from the Olo dashboard.

This gives your team a centralised place to access post-order data for reconciliation and financial reporting without needing to switch between platforms. If you’re already using Olo Rails, this is a major upgrade to streamline your financial operations.

Brand-funded marketplace discounts in your POS

A new enhancement now allows brand-funded discounts applied on Uber Eats to pass directly through Rails and into your POS. This makes sure markdowns are captured at the order level and submitted seamlessly with the order to the POS (just like native orders), eliminating mismatched order totals and manual price reduction handling.

  • Offers a more detailed understanding of the ROI of promotions
  • Provides better visibility for calculating royalty fees owed to parent chains
  • Reduces manual discount handling and builds trust in your financial reporting

In-store or pick-up specific pricing

You can now set different menu prices for pick-up and delivery orders. Offer base, uninflated prices for customers who pick up their orders, while maintaining separate pricing for Uber Eats deliveries.

Customers accept that delivery convenience comes at a higher price – and expect that convenience fee to be removed when they choose pick-up. Adjusting pick-up pricing to reflect in-store costs helps you meet expectations and deliver a fair, consistent experience.

How it works

  1. The brand will need to reach out to their Olo CSM to enable this Rails pick-up pricing feature for Uber Eats.

  2. Once confirmed:

    1. In the Olo dashboard, go to Settings > Brand Settings > General Settings > Integration Settings
    2. Scroll to the Rails Pick-up Pricing section and choose Select Stores
    3. Select the stores you want to enable, then choose Confirm Selection
    4. Choose Save to activate the feature
