Introducing the success score

Take your business to the top. With the new Uber Eats success score, you’ll get access to insights and benefits to help grow your business.

An intelligence tool to help your business grow

The success score is a new tool designed to help restaurants on Uber Eats get more insights into their delivery business and how to succeed on the platform.

How it works:

  • Each month, stores will get their success score and benefits based on their performance over the previous month
  • Reach the goals shown in Uber Eats Manager to reach the next tier the following month
  • See tailored recommendations on the best ways to provide more value for customers, achieve a higher score, and unlock more benefits

Frequently asked questions

  • Your success score will be updated on the first of the month based on individual store performance over the previous 28 days.

  • You can check the status of these metrics throughout the month in Uber Eats Manager. You’ll receive email updates at the start of each month on the status of your score, benefits you’ve unlocked, and recommendations to achieve a higher score. You'll also get notifications via email and in Uber Eats Manager to help you track progress towards maintaining or unlocking new benefits based on your performance throughout the month. And notifications if you're at risk of losing out of your benefits.

  • The quality score places stores in one of five tiers (Excellent, Great, Good, Fair, or Poor) based on their performance across areas important for providing value for customers: operational excellence, menu markup, menu details, ratings, and sustainable packaging (where applicable).

Each tier has goal thresholds to meet to achieve the next tier. A store’s quality score is determined based on how many of the goals are met by the end of the month. See here for more details on the criteria for reaching each tier.

  • Log in to Uber Eats Manager and navigate to the Success Score page under Performance. From there, if viewing the success score of an individual store, scroll down to the Benefits section to see a list of your store's benefits based on your current success score. If viewing multiple stores on the success score page, click on an individual store to see a list of its benefits based on its success score.

  • The success score introduces new criteria to achieve Top Eats. Now, stores that reach a Great success score or above will unlock Top Eats. To reach a Great success score or above, meet the goals shown for Great in Uber Eats Manager for the following metrics: operational excellence, menu markup, menu details, and rating.

Have more questions?

*The success score is measured at the individual store level (even if you have several store locations) and aggregates performance across key areas of delivery, which depending on your tier may include metrics for: menu markups, operational excellence, menu details, ratings, and use of more sustainable packaging (in markets where applicable). Your restaurant’s aggregate score will correspond to one of the success score tiers viewable in Uber Eats Manager. Your success score is reassessed monthly and each store's tier may move up or down based upon its performance in the key areas on a monthly basis. Under each tier your store will have access to certain benefits and tools, which are viewable in Uber Eats Manager. For those stores in the “Excellent” tier, the specific benefits provided under monetary incentives may vary from time to time, and may not include each possible monetary incentive benefit in any given month. Stores ranked in the “Poor” tier will receive no success score benefits and may no longer be able to access some marketplace tools previously available to them. Additionally, stores that remain in the “Poor” tier for multiple months will receive outreach from Uber; if, following outreach efforts from Uber to improve the success score, a store remains in Poor tier thereafter, the store will be at risk for being removed from the Uber Eats Marketplace in Uber’s discretion. Uber Eats may change this program, ranking tiers, and corresponding scores for each tier at any time at its discretion. For more details, view the Success Score tab in Uber Eats Manager.

**Sustainable packaging will not be a pillar in all regions, and what qualifies as more sustainable packaging, as well as the metrics used for measuring success in this area, may differ based on local requirements that will be specified by market.
