How to set up your menu with Menu Maker
Your menu is a powerful tool for your business. A clear and detailed menu will make it more appealing to your diners. Remember that this is the way you will show all the dishes that your restaurant offers.
How is a menu structured?
Schedule
Different menus can be set up for different times of the day. For example, the breakfast menu from 7am to 11am or the lunch menu from 11am to 4pm. Each menu will have certain hours or days assigned. A menu has the following categories per day:
- Breakfast

- Lunch
- Dinner
Categories
Categories are groups of items used to organize your menu.
Some examples:
- Appetizers
- Desserts
- Fan favorites
You can organize your Lunch menu, for instance, with appetizers, entrees, and desserts.
Create the categories you think are necessary.
Items
Items are usually individual foods that form categories. Smaller items like condiments or toppings can be used to customize larger items. For example, a cheeseburger can be customized with tomatoes and ketchup.
Modifier groups
You can group smaller item sets into modifier groups and then link them to larger items. For example, you can create a modifier group for toppings like lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup, and mustard, then link it to a cheeseburger and chicken sandwich.

With Menu Maker, you can add photos of your dishes. To help you captivate diners, we’ve compiled tips in this video tutorial so that your photos are the best they can be.
Always insert photographs that faithfully reproduce the dish that the customer will receive. It's important that your pictures are at least 2880px (width) x 2304px (height). This will ensure the best quality and look on your menu.

- How do I add or change photos of my dishes?
To add or change photos of your dishes, log in to Uber Eats Manager. Then follow these steps:
- Choose the Menu button and find the Overview section.
- Select the item you want to change the photo for (this will open the “Edit item” side panel).
- In the Basic tab of the side panel, hover over the photo box and navigate to the pencil icon, then select Replace; in the pop-up box that appears, select Replace again.
- Add the new photo from your files and choose the Save button.
- Finally, select Request approval in the pop-up box.

Note: Photo reviews can take up to 3 days. Once approved, customers will be able to see it immediately.
- How can I add or remove items from my menu?
Down Small Log in to Uber Eats Manager and follow these steps:
- Select the Menu button and find the Overview section.
- To add an item: Choose + Add next to the search bar, then select Add item. Enter the details in the "Edit item" side panel and select Save.
- To delete an item: Find and select the item to open the “Edit item” panel, then choose the 3-dot menu in the top right next to the Save button; select Delete.
