How important is delivery to the overall customer experience? To understand expectations regarding delivery and returns, Uber Direct commissioned Boxclever Consulting to conduct comprehensive research with 2,014 UK online shoppers. The study analyses preferences across 18 retail product categories, comparing attitudinal differences among generational groups. Key insights include that there’s:

  • Significant demand for rapid delivery across several product categories
  • Great desire for convenience when receiving and returning parcels
  • Much higher expectations among younger consumers

The report also shows which consumers will pay a premium for speed and convenience—and the optimum price to charge.
