How Top Eats works
On the 1st of every month, we assess your performance over the past 90 days based on the 5 metrics below. If you’ve met the criteria, you’ll earn or keep your Top Eats status. You can check your performance and the goals for each metric in Uber Eats Manager.
Average star rating
Highly rated reviews let customers know they can expect outstanding food and service.
Completed orders
Successful, timely deliveries give customers the confidence to order from you.
Online rate
When customers come to your storefront, they can depend on your availability to take orders.
Missed order rate
Rare unaccepted orders mean your customers can rely on you to deliver.

- Do I have to enroll to be eligible for Top Eats status?
No. After being on Uber Eats for at least 90 days, your business is automatically eligible to earn Top Eats status.
- Do I pay for Top Eats status?
No, Top Eats status is earned through great work on real orders. It also lets your customers know they can expect a stellar experience with every order.
- Do I need to be on Uber Eats for a certain period of time to earn Top Eats status?
Yes, you need at least 90 days on Uber Eats to be eligible. If you meet this time frame and the metric goals after your first 90 days, you can earn Top Eats status.
- What happens if I lose my Top Eats status?
Don’t worry—losing your Top Eats status doesn’t mean you can’t earn it again. In fact, you can see your performance in Uber Eats Manager to help pinpoint areas for improvement. We also provide a guide in the Top Eats dashboard with actions you can take.
- Will users know I’m a Top Eats merchant?
Yes, users will see a badge next to your business’s name and will be able to filter for merchants with Top Eats status in the app.

*The quality score is measured at the individual store level (even if you have several store locations) and aggregates performance across key areas of delivery, which depending on your tier may include metrics for: menu markups, operational excellence, menu details, ratings, and use of more sustainable packaging (in markets where applicable). Your restaurant’s aggregate score will correspond to one of the quality score tiers viewable in Uber Eats Manager. Your quality score is reassessed monthly and each store's tier may move up or down based upon its performance in the key areas on a monthly basis. Under each tier your store will have access to certain benefits and tools, which are viewable in Uber Eats Manager. Benefits at each tier are subject to change. For those stores in the “Excellent” tier, the specific benefits provided under monetary incentives may vary from time to time, and may not include each possible monetary incentive benefit in any given month. Stores ranked in the “Poor” tier will receive no quality score benefits and may no longer be able to access some marketplace tools previously available to them. Additionally, stores that remain in the “Poor” tier for multiple months will receive outreach from Uber; if, following outreach efforts from Uber to improve the quality score, a store remains in Poor tier thereafter, the store will be at risk for being removed from the Uber Eats Marketplace in Uber’s discretion. Uber Eats may change this program, ranking tiers, and corresponding scores for each tier at any time at its discretion. For more details, view the Quality Score tab in Uber Eats Manager.
