How it Works

Step 1: Sign up for Uber Eats

When you're ready, fill out our signup form. Then share a few business details, like your location and license, so we can verify your account and get you set up.

Step 2: Choose the right plan for you

Select your preferred delivery option: connect with delivery people on the Uber platform or use your own staff. Want to offer customer pickup? Contact us or your account manager, and we’ll handle the rest.

Step 3: Start taking orders

  • Uber Eats partners with a wide range of businesses—including restaurants, grocery stores, convenience shops, and retailers. If you offer food, beverages, or everyday essentials for delivery or pickup, there’s likely a plan that fits your setup.

    Note: All businesses must meet local licensing and compliance requirements before onboarding.

    1. A customer opens the Uber Eats app, browses your menu, and places an order.
    2. You accept the order on your in-store tablet through the Uber Eats Orders app.
    3. The customer tracks the order’s progress through the Uber Eats app.
    4. You fulfill the order, and it can reach the customer in one of these ways:
      • Delivered by a courier from Uber’s network.
      • Picked up by the customer.
      • Delivered by your own staff.
    5. The customer receives the order.
  • To get started, fill out our signup form and share a few key details: your business name, location, license, and estimated order volume. We’ll use that information to verify your account and help you get set up.

    Note: although we review every submission, we’re not able to partner with every business that applies.

  • Depending on how many locations you have, it’s possible to become an Uber Eats merchant partner and start accepting orders in just a few days. You can begin the process by signing up here.

  • There are 3 options for getting an Uber Eats order to a customer:

    1. By a delivery person on the Uber Eats platform.
    2. By a member of your own staff.
    3. By customer self-pickup at your restaurant or store.

    You can choose which delivery options you’d like to offer customers when signing up for Uber Eats.

  • A large network of delivery people use the Uber Eats app to connect to your store and get food or other items from you to your customer as quickly as possible.

  • Your delivery zone is unique to your store and will change over time. Delivery zones are dynamic and determined by an algorithm that evaluates many factors that include cuisine type, location, distance, and expected total delivery times to create the best experience for you and your customers.
