Boost sales during off-peak periods with Happy Hour offers

What’s new?

We’ve launched a new Happy Hour offer type that allows you to create time-bound discounts from 2 to 5pm. This launch includes notifications to customers and a dedicated customer experience to highlight these offers in the Uber Eats app. Launching offers with a limited duration helps increase customer urgency to place orders during a window when sales typically slow down.

Why this update?

Off-peak hours can be costly for businesses, with fewer orders but the same overhead costs like staffing and utilities. Happy Hour offers are designed to address this by driving order volume during these less busy times.

  1. Log in to Uber Eats Manager
  2. Go to the Marketing tab and select Create campaign at the top of the page
  3. Select Happy Hour as your offer type

Updates specific to UEM

Scale your business and save time with multi-location campaign creation

What’s new?

We’ve introduced multi-location campaign creation on Uber Eats Manager (UEM). This feature allows you to create and manage ads and offers for up to 500 business locations all at once.

Why this update?

Previously, businesses had to create campaigns for each location separately, a time-consuming process. Now you can streamline this task by setting up and adjusting campaigns across all your locations simultaneously, freeing up your time for other operational needs.

  1. Log in to Uber Eats Manager
  2. Navigate to the Marketing tab
  3. Create a new ad or offer campaign and select the locations where you want the campaign to apply from the drop-down menu

Target customers with greater precision using self-serve Keyword Targeting

What’s new?

The new Keyword Targeting self-serve suite in Ads Manager is unique to Uber and allows you to create keyword-specific ads yourself that appear at the top of search results and category pages on Uber Eats.

Why this update?

Customers often search for specific items or categories, and our new 3-part Keyword suite allows you to attract more customers in those searches, increasing your relevance and driving more orders when customers are ready to make a purchase.

  • Reach a wider audience by appearing at the top of relevant searches
  • Increase relevance with ads that target specific customer searches
  • Drive sales by highlighting new or seasonal menu items
  • Exercise more control over campaign creation and performance with self-serve capabilities

How to access



Log in to Ads Manager and follow all 3 parts of the suite to get the best results:

  1. First, run a Keyword Identification Report to discover relevant search terms
  2. Next, create your campaign by inputting your list of keywords and reviewing your budget
  3. Finally, monitor performance with the Keyword Performance Report and adjust your campaign as needed

Manage your campaigns with more control using new reporting features

What’s new?

We’ve enhanced the reporting and insights available in Ads Manager. These updates include new reports that give you deeper insights into how your ads are performing and where you can make improvements. Some of the new reports include:

  • Audience Segment Report: Break down performance by audience segments like new, lapsed, and returning customers.
  • Location Report: Discover how ads perform at different business locations.
  • Placement Report: Understand how ads perform in various placements across the app (such as Browse versus Search).
  • Realized Lifetime Value Report: Track sales from net-new customers and new-to-ads existing customers (those who have ordered from you before, but never from an ad unit).
  • Share of Voice Report: Analyze how your campaign affects sales across different regions and times of day.
