How to protect your Uber Eats account

Learn essential tips and best practices to protect your Uber Eats account. Find out how to safeguard your personal information, recognize phishing attempts, and maintain account security.

How to protect yourself from fraud

Watch out for emails or calls requiring urgent action to avoid negative consequences

Be cautious with emails or calls that require that you urgently divulge sensitive information to maintain your access to Uber Eats services. We may reach out on these types of issues, but when we do, we will not request any account access information from you, there will be a verification process in most cases, and you can always contact Uber support if you are in doubt.

Take note of emails from suspicious domains

Be cautious of any emails from email addresses that do not end in @uber.com. For example, an email address ending with @ukubereats.com would not be a legitimate Uber domain.

Keep your personal and store data up to date

Make sure that you always have the correct and up to date phone numbers, email addresses, and other information recorded on your Uber Eats account.

Make sure you check who has access to your account

Verify that the list of people at your store with access to your account is correct, and that each of those people (i.e. admins and managers) has the correct set of access rights. It may also be helpful to keep access.

Contact support

If you receive any suspicious calls or emails or notice any unusual activity on your account, please notify our support team straight away.
